My 5g Nano - Month 2
Alright - It's long overdue, but here's are my 2-month nano pics - Everything is (shockingly) still alive and not only surviving, but THRIVING.
The pics have gotten a bit tough to take due to a bit of cleaning needed on the front and sides, but I did my best! Main tank shot http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../fulltank2.jpg Xenia and some baby macro http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...lsingxenia.jpg Hiding trumpet with budding baby and "Schmuckers" - It's a fitting name http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...andtrumpet.jpg Green star polyps, picture just doesn't do them justice. Can't wait to get them a bit out of the flow of water, though - It's a bit much for 'em http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nstarpolyp.jpg I have NO clue what this is - I thought it was Apistasia, but it's not growing in the same way, nor is it stinging any of the surrounding corals: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...no/unknown.jpg Pipe Organs - these guys have at LEAST tripled since initially gotten, and they're even in a fair amount of flow, which is pretty darn cool http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...pipeorgans.jpg Zoa frag: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...no/zoafrag.jpg Schmuckers again, my Bi-Color Blenny: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...schmuckers.jpg My Kenyan Tree - a bit out of focus due to the algae on the front: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ndtrumpets.jpg If you look at the glass, on the upper right hand area - you'll notie a mark on the glass, that would be why schmuckers is so named - That was him, sucking at the glass. I have my very own bi-color pleco? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...uckerprint.jpg There she be! Now I just have to post the bedroom F/W setups :) |

whats your set up like for that tank? i am looking at doing a small tank
thanks |
Pretty simple, actually! Right now, in comparison to when this pic was taken, I've got a AC500 for a fuge, but for lights I've got 2x18w Power Compact screw-in bulbs, Rock, sand, and corals... I've got tons of coraline, and I do have to clean the front of my tank a fair amount, but hey - it's doing quite well otherwise :)
