It all depends on your aquascaping. Just make sure you don't have any dead spots.

Jason,

You can never have too much flow - the problem that people run into is with velocity not flow. If your flow is too fast and things are getting buffeted around in the tank, an easy fix is to split your return into two pipes. It will cut down how fast the water is coming out of each pipe and will give you better coverage.

I would go with 2 of the 1100 seio's in there.

which nanostreams would you recommend? and how many of them in my tank?

tunze nanostream 6025 or tunze nanostream 6045 ?

I have a 72g standard tank, I find 2 seio 1100's a 620 and the return are still not enough. But I do have the tank packed with a lot of rock. Go big or go home :)

6055's :) but the 6045's are nice too i have a couple of them. mostly just to hit my other pumps to create more erradict movement with my flow...they are kind stuck to the bottom angling up towards the seio's

did you put them in the corners like everyone else does though?

Not that I have any seios, but I've read on numerous occasions that they are not anemone safe because of the unprotected intakes.
