My clowns love hosting in mushrooms. These are easy to keep corals.

was just wondering what kind of mushrooms do you hav cause my clowns won't even touch my purple and my green hairy mushrooms

My ocellaris clowns actually host in a big empty shell. They love the moonsnail shell the best. They will occationally rub up on the mushrooms, but lay thier eggs in the shell. My black and white saddleback lives in my huge frogspawn. I dont think the frogspawn really likes it, but the clown thinks its an anenome. :D

Eh, I dunno the exact names. I've got blue, orange, green, and pink mushrooms. They aren't elephant ears or hairy mushrooms. It took the better part of a year before they started hosting, and they're still quite small.

Mine host in my rhodactis mushrooms, the big ones that have polyps that look like fat "chicken feet":biggrin:

They totally ignored the anemone that was in there. On the other hand, my gold striped maroons love their LTA & my friend's tomato clown (which I'm babysitting) loves the RBTA.

I have 2 in my 20g nano at work that host in waving hand anthelia. Both the clowns and the coral seem to be happy with the match.

my clown likes pulsing xenia and frogspawn

One of my clowns love its pulsing xenia and the other wont stop molesting the pimple mushroom even tho there is a BTA right beside it!!
