Hi, lets hear about your tank!

welcome......................
It's a great place to live. What more do you need ,Vancouver Island and a fish tank ( or two ):) :)
I am still just wetting my feet after along hiatus from saltwater and can tell you that you have found a very friendly site that is a fountain of information. Happy reefing..........................Dave |

Thanks Everyone! this is great and close to home lol, my equipment is pretty much all there but inhabitants are sadly lacking, its very hard to find good corals on the island, seems as soon as it hits the ferry it gets gold plated, currently everything comes by air same day, the big problem is a web picture really dosent translate to what you order, you think the online guys would figure out a cam link or something (sorry minor rant )

Welcome Sedgewick! Where are you from? We have a small business here that has salt water fish and corals...its a home business to check out if you are close to Campbell River...just depends on what kind of coral you are looking for. Anyways...share pics of your tank and you location!

Welcome to Canreef. There are several helpful members all up & down Vancouver Island. I believe someone from Victoria posted saying they're coming to the Lower Mainland soon & are willing to pick up stuff for reefers. That type of offer is very useful and you should try to get in touch with them. It's also a great way to meet fellow reefers.
