Prodibio additives

Hi folks...
I'm new here and this site rocks...

My question is does anybody use Prodibio here??

Reefer Rob 10-30-2006 03:47 AM

I've been using Prodibio since June. Takes about 3 monthes to see any results. Brought my NO3 down to 0. Since doing my "sandbed experiment" (removed 2") NO3 was up to 1, but I haven't checked in about a week and a half, so it may be down again.

There isn't many reefers her useing this stuff!
Anyway have you started dosing reefbooster yet?

Started Reef Booster about a month into the program, once the algae problem that started when I switched to T5s died down. (switched from PCs to T5s in May). Checked my NO3 last night, and it is up to 2.5. I'm not sure that Prodibio will work that well without a DSB. I'll have to wait and see.

I would not dose reef booster until your no3 are down,if you do your skimmer will probably go crazy and your po4 will go up.The fact that you don't have a dsb will increase your no3 that's why you have some combined with reef booster .So until your no3 and po4 are 0 don't dose reef booster and when you do ,do it slowly maybe half the dosage all depending on how many corals you have.

Skipped reefbooster on the weekend for that reason. Would like to see NO3 getting back near 0 before starting again. I'm not sure it would have any effect on my corals with my high NO3, it's made for use in a very nutrient poor environment. No positive effects untill NO3 is below 0 IMO.

You should continue biodigest, that will bring your no3 down and then reef booster but only half the dosage.
