PFO Electronic Metal Halide Ballast
 

Anyone using these? I would like to hear anyones comments.

I have one, works well and is silent. Fires my 250 hqi pendant. Never had a problem.

Good to hear, I am thinking of picking 2 up.
How long have you had the ballast?

Know I have a PFO ballast (AQ2-250HQI-120V) so went to their web site to see if the HQI was considered electronic. Appears no, but the site only list two sizes of electronic ballasts, what size of bulbs you planning?

I will be going with 250's. I may end up with icecap though. I just havent heard much about the pfo e-ballasts.

Jezz my bad.. sorry I misread this. I actually have icecap electronic ballast and a pfo mini pendant. Hard to go wrong with icecap.

I have three of the 250w PFO hqi ballasts (M80's i believe so they're magnetics), two have been running for almost 2 years now. Haven't had any problems with them.

Anything specific you want to know?

Well it looks like I am going to be the guinea pig for these. I ordered them yesterday. I will have some feed back when they are up and running.
