Ich situation update (Very odd)

Ok I realize the following is part of the ich cycle but could the life cycle have been sped up so fast? I have never experienced marine ich but I know in fresh water the cycle took at least a couple of days.

Yesterday morning bought the two clowns. Yesterday evening Ich began developing on one of the clowns. Last night the other clown began getting a little bit of ich. This morning the ich has fallen off both fish and only the origional case has like one speck left. Could the lifecycle of this ich be that fast? Contraction to free swimming within 24 hours? It doesnt really make sense to me.

What temp are you running at? heat speeds up the cycle

Sure it's ich, not sand?

Have tang that likes to go through the rockwork and sometimes comes out with white spots, still gets me a little freaked when I first see it.

Air bubbles do the same thing as well.

pH problems can also cause ick-like symptoms

my ph is 8.3 is that ok?

Give it time, if they start to itch on rocks & stuff then its ich for sure!!!!! I had ich (regal tang) hopefully its just sand on your clowns. Do you have other fish in your tank?

no only the two clowns
