pH dependancy on temp

OK, first chem post. WOuld pH be affected by slight differences in temp? Since colder water can hold more oxygen, does this mean it would therefore release more CO2? I'm talking about a drop from 81 to 79. Thanks

Glad we have some chemistry experts here to answer stuff :P I'll go ask Randy Holmes-Farley. I'll post a link here to his reply.

I was just thinking that if I were ever to attempt to answer that question, my answer would sound something like this: "Ummm ... Ahh Duhhh????" (although potentially not quite as articulate as even that).

Interested to see what RHF would have to say though .... looking forward to the reply. :)

Tony, is there supposed to be some "experts" here from Keels or something??

Hello,

I've sent 2 e-mails to the guys at Keels with no replies. Guess they aren't that interested in replying. Anyway, I'm keeping these forums here at the mean time. The topics of discussion deserve their own categories.

Titus
