Where'd my 2 Spot Gobie go?
 

Hi,

About 3 days ago I purchased a Two Spot Gobie from Animal House and introduced it to my 27 gallon seahorse tank. He was doing well and was actively exploring the tank. A couple of days later, I have not been able to find him.

I had noticed that there were little tunnels that he had dug underneath some rock and was wondering if he could possibly be hiding in there.

Then this morning I checked the tank and the tunnels were no longer there. I believe that the sand star could have pushed some sand and closed up the tunnels leaving the gobie trapped. Would it be wise for me to excavate around the tunnel and try to free him if he is indeed trapped?

Help?.....I really like the lil bugger and just wanna find out if he's still alive or not.
