NO. We decided to go ahead with it. Just got back logged by summer vacations. :smile:

Doug's right. I guess I was supposed to come up with something. oops..

If anyone has ideas on themes for the contests I'd like to hear them. :biggrin:

On one forum there was a , something yellow contest, night time only photos, you could have just a general saltwater general freshwater contest and maybe an off topic contest. Just some ideas.

I think we should also have a "Funny Picture" or "Oddest Thing" category too.

I think the bigger questions would be who's in charge of moderating and judging the contest.

Contest rules and themes could be different every month, so a voting poll could be used to see what people want every month. Then a pre-selected commitee would vote on the best picture. Perhaps a job for the mods or the FTOTM commitee?

I for one like the color idea to start, its nice and simple.

I think the voteing should be done by all of us. I just think it's more fair.

Voting will be done by a poll. Everyone gets to vote. :wink:

sound good lets get it set up we have 20 something days untill the next month to prepair

Would something like this work?

Select a theme then announce it, give people... say 2 weeks to get their entries in.
Then post them all at once and we can vote for say another 2 weeks.
