Ya the picture is when he is in a buckett as I moved him to a new tank.I just seen some post on fatty liver disease so I just want to make sure I do not kill the poor guy.Do you think his weight is going to be an issue at this size?

Puffy's can cause variety's of problem when they stuff theirselves to death. If the food is there they will eat it. Although if he is always that shape, could be other issues happening.

How many times do you feed him though? And what do you feed him? Also how old is he? Would give us a better idea.

One of the best things to feed a larger puffer like that is regular frozen shrimp from the grocery store. Good nutritional profile and cheap.

He does look a little chubby but not too bad.
