Question about Avatars

If you want to use a custom image as your avatar, does it need to be exactly 48x48 or does the board automatically adjust the size appropriately?

Question about Avatars

Tony, it seems to confine them all to 48 x 48. Look at Spider-Man to see the distortion. Or try any graphic's URL, and the Avatar feature in your profile will preview the new avatar there.

Never mind - now they've changed to a larger size constraint.

Question about Avatars

Hello,

There is indeed a size constraint, which has just been increased today. Any picture that is larger than the specified size will be decimated to fit the size limits.

Question about Avatars

Hello,

Is someone trying to make fun of my latest endeavour?

Question about Avatars

Making fun? No! In fact I want to compliment you on the board upgrades.

It's just that my picture wants your picture's phone number, but my picture is married...

;)
