How did you get the plate coral to keep from sliding off the rock?

you need to move that fungia off of the rockwork and onto the sand otherwise it will damage itself but tearing at the tissue on it's underside. once damaged they take a long time to heal if at all.

thank you willow, i was unaware about that...and tony i just put it on there and it stayed luckily.

it probably won't stay there. they like to inflate themselves and hover around like ufos when they want a new spot.

my plate coral hasnt moved in about a month since i put it on that rock just sits and flows...as for the fungia i moved him on the sand bed and seems to be doing well...thanks again for the input..

You'll have fun with that Fungia. They are capable of bloating themselves up to nearly twice its own size.
