Can anybody tell me what kind of coral this is?
 

Hi I got this coral from a friend who was closing down her tank...does anyone know what kind of coral it is...it isnt out yet, it was ****ed off cuz of the low salinity levels in her tank..but curious if anyone knows?

Also it kind of looks as though it is dying is that true??

my guess would be Cyphastrea.. and it looks like ass. you'd better get on your knees and pray.

Beautiful coral (when it looks nice)... never seen it look that bad though. I doubt it will survive, especially if your nitrates are still really high. Maybe try and pass it on to another hobbyest with an established tank who can try to save it for you? I would help out if my tanks had any space... but they dont.
