June Meeting
 

Hello all.
I wanted to take this oppurtunity to say that I would be honoured to hold the next Edmonton reef meet.
I am thinking Sunday June 18 th at 2 pm??? the 24 and 25 weekend won't work for me and the next one is the long weekend.
does anyone have any major problems or suggestions for that?
I will give a 25.00 dollar gift certificate for inverts for the draw.
Maybe we can get a couple of other sponsers as well.
Lets start planning it now so that we can have maximum participation.
Any suggestions on any demos?
How about a session of making some rock for our tanks? I can come up with the supplies and stuff and we can figure out how to make some LR out of concrete and oyster shells.
I have the DIY for this..haven' tried it yet..might be an idea.
just a thought.
Lets start coming up with what we got for frags as well.

the date has changed due to father's day
the meet will now be on 17 June at 6 pm.
Unless of course there are any major problems

Just wondering if there is going to be anyone coming to this meet.
No one has said anything and quite frankly I don't really want to go through the hassles if no one is going to come
Please start posting if you are going to come so that i have an idea how many people are going to come out.
If there is little or no interest, I may cancel till July

July might give a better turn out, 4 weeks apart is not a lot of time.

Yes, I agree July may be better. Although summer months are a bad time. Typically over the last couple of years the board goes close to dead during summer months.

Example...Today is the first day I have checked out this board in WEEKS! So it gives you an idea.
