what color are they supposed to be? the picture seems kinda washed out to me. :confused:

The pic is washed out, hence the "(old & crappy photo)"

It's like a dark purple skirt, with red outline and a purple/blue center. They are somewhat common, I've seen them in lots of peoples tanks. Fast growers, and look amazing under any 20k bulb IMO.
