Call up Pisces and Riverfront and see what they have maybe.

Big Al's doesn't sell them, don't bother looking for them there. :(

I got mine at Wai's. They were $50 (well, $50 and change, can't remember the exact price, may have been something like $52) each over there. Gotta have an excuse to go to Wais every once in a while (suchhhhh nnnnniiiicccceeee corals .....droooooll)

Kim mentioned that home-based business in the south, near you guys. Tails & Scales?

If you go there, could you pick me up a couple?

Dang, never even thought of that.

(Calling them now.) $42.99 each, and they have "a whole bunch" in stock.

None at Petland...

Is 2 x 295 gph not a virtual "storm" of current? Am I being nervous about blowing the place around, or does most of the current flatten out and distribute nicely?

Cheers!

I have 2 MJ1200's in my 75. It is barely enough flow for my liking at the moment! No sandstorms.

OTOH, two Mag 7's .... (just kidding.) That would be nasty.

Jon - realized it may be a bit much asking to "pick me up" a couple of 1200's. That's close to a hundred $$; no problem if it's a problem.

There's always Danny's. I like his shop too, but I feel like I'm putting his kid through college when I pay his price...

You could always come down to the south and pay us a visit (T&S is about 2 blocks away from me. Not even halfway the distance from my place to Jon's place.)

I think the correct grammar is "..was what birdies DID". Not "do", this creates a tense shift.

AJ,

At one point I had five MJ1200's and a MJ900 in my 33 running on a wavemaker. Well three 1200's were. As well as my MAG7 return. So I don't know what ya mean about a "Virtual Storm of Current" ;) :D Two MJ1200's is nuttin.. :D

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nope. Next to weather, water flow is probably one of the most difficult things in nature to predict. Even in a tank like this. In a pipe we can make predictions. In a tank? nope. Too many factors. It will swirl and twist all over the place. The only way to have calm water is to shut the pumps off.
