I cant believe it!!!
This weekend I bought three captive bred clown fish. Now when I placed them in the tank two of them went and hid and the other began swimming around my cowfish. Out of know where my cow fish took a bite out of the clown. When he let him go the clown had a big hole in his back.
I was in complete shock. My cowfish has never attack any fish before and he has not attacked any of the clowns since. I am not sure if he just thought I was feeding him or what he was thinking. The clown fish has been eating for the past two days though and is swimming around as if nothing happened. I really dont know if he will make it though he is really missing half of his back. I guess only time will tell. |
If it was mine, I would remove the bit clown before any more feeding continues

Ditto, also.. 3 clowns in one tank is asking for trouble sooner or later. Just a FYI!
Good luck, I hope it recovers for you. |
I had the opposite problem my clowns were picking at my cowfish. My cow is to slow to catch the clowns.
