Xenia sheading a few polyps

Its my first time with Xenia, is it normal to see a xenia poly float by? Twice this weekend I noticed these polyps (aprox 3/4" long) float by in the current. Is my Xenia falling apart?:sad:

I don't think so, mine because of the flow likes to twist in knots and break off and floats around and joins to something else and grows a new colony in no time :mrgreen:
