Oceansmotions 4 way
Anyone use a oceanmotions 4 way as a return?
|
I use one of these on my 190g. I use the version 3 and I split each line as it comes out of the OM 2 ways which makes for 8 returns to my tank. I really like this little gadget. Good strong alternating flow.

I use to use a 4 way. Nice, well built little unit. Paul is a really nice guy to deal with and quite helpful.
What I didn't like about the unit is the super difficult way it needs to be plumbed since all posts are on opposite sides. I had mine on a Sequence Dart. Beautiful combination. |
I have one on my closed loop with an Ampmaster pump. It is a big unit once all the plumbing is tied in as mr alberta stated. If you use a short legth of spaflex pvc from each outlet, it is way easier to get everything lined up. You will need to have a good amount of room to accommodate the setup. Once the plubing is done, the unit works great without any fuss. I am waiting for a set of the Revolution nozzles (on backorder) to compliment the 4-way. Should really mix up the water movement then.

and I've got Mr. Alberta 4-way, plumbed into CL on a 145g using a Dart.
Using the drum I had, I crossed over the lines as I wanted to alternately feed side to side, made the layout a little more complicated, though custom drums are available. Lot of pictures and comments on OM's website. |
I'm using the 4-way oceansmotions squirt on my return for my 20L Nano.

Thanks for all the replys, I think I will have to put in a order.
