just wondering if it is a bad thing to have my alk at 13dkh, my water from my tap is at 12 so i think my tap water is the reason, my calcium at 400
ph 8-3 , is this going to affect my coral or is it just harder on my pumps/heater??????????????/

13 is definately on the high side, most people aim for 8-10.

I'm not certain that you can read the alk of tap water using the same test that you would be using for saltwater...Your tap water test results might be invalid.
