Need help with Aquacontroller III
I'm trying to set up a rule so my solenoid shuts off when my pH is < 8.0 and turns on when pH is > 8.4. This is also the rule the directions expect you to input into the controller. When I start working through the aquacontroller, it only gives me options for pH 2 and pH 3. Apparently there is no pH 1 and even if there was, I still can't set one rule for any of the pH settings. This probable isn't making any sense so if someone has any knowledge of the aquacontrollers, could you please PM me with your number so I can give you a call. Thanks.

try emailing Curt from Neptune Systems ,[address is either on the website or on the sponser fourm on reef central ] he was extremely helpful with setting up my aq3 ,for networking as well as any programming questions, for ph though you should just have to set up a high and low point for it , there is actually a preset program in the aq that you can adjust to your own preference . there is only 2 ph options if you do not use your orp probe , although they are coming out with a add-on i believe so you can run 2 ph probes as well as your orp.

I sent him an email last night. I've figured out the ORP settings but the pH still doesn't look right to me. I'll see what happens with the email. Thanks.

I think the way the Aquacontroller comes, the PH_1 and PH_2 names are refferring to Powerhead one and powerhead 2.
You need to define a name for your solenoid, and then write a script that tells the solenoid when to come on. Something like: If ph > 0 then SOL ON If ph > 8.4 then SOL OFF Chris. |
