Now For Something Completely Different
I have been wearing a wrist watch for years and years and years. Yes, it's true. I am old
Anyway, over a week ago, the Timex watch I've been wearing for the last three years stopped working. Don't know if it just needs a new battery, or if it's gone belly up. But I'm so used to wearing a watch that I've been wearing this broken thing every day since it stopped working. And the funny thing is, in all those days, I keep looking at my wrist to see what time it is   And it's always the same freaking time, which is even funnier, because I sort of expect to be able to tell what time it is whenever I look at this stupid, broken watch!!!!!!! Must be senility setting in  So, let's make this broken watch make us all laugh. I'm throwing this wide open for any and all to guess at what time my watch stopped. If you guess whether it was AM or PM, I would applaud you even more! Is there a prize for guessing the right, or nearest to the right, time my watch stopped? Hmmm. Don't know how I could get a reef related prize to someone in, say, Vancouver or Regina. But who cares about prizes, right? Let the guessing begin  |
It stopped at 1:15 AM. Am I right?
The prize should be a broken watch. Same thing happened to my wife a while back. She went insane untill I went and got her a new super thin swatch. (Same as the dead one.) |
I write love poetry to G1GY and eat vaseline.
.... ... ........ True story. |
