Plumbing up a PhosBan Reactor
so I'm going to plumb up my sump tomorrow, My plan is to put in a T in the return line with a valve and 1/2 reducer so i can plumb in a PhosBan Reactor. ill use the valve to adjust the flow to the appropriate flow rate... is there any reason i shouldn't do this ? any suggestions

For the cost, and avoid the grief, I just use an aquaclear HOB in the sump.

as long as you can keep the flow rate even and the media gently rolling i don’t think it matters how you plumb it..
btw an aqua clear and phosban reactor to completely different things, its like comparing a cheese sandwich and a toaster. forget about the fact that a phosban reactor has no moving parts an an aquaclear has a motor how would that make life any easier? |
