green algae?
 
I just noticed dots of green algae all over in the tank i'm cycling. What does this mean ? Is it good? bad? lol

i just means you have algae in your tank,probably nothing to worry about as long as its not out of control.

I hope it doesn't ! lol =p There's dots all over the sand and some on the rocks now. Very small dots ...oh and there's bubbles forming on the rocks.

It is ALL just a part of your cycle. Everyone goes through this.. and then some. So buck up, I am sure there is plenty more to come :razz:

Yep, you will probably get some diatoms and cyano outbreaks too.

try not to over feed your tank.
and reduce your lighting duration should help.

also get some snail and hermit crabs they are great to control the algae bloom.
