Where to find some empty shells in Calgary

I would just like to know where the best place to buy empty shells here in Calgary, seeing how i dont want to pay a buck a peice for them at Big Als (might aswell buy more hermits and kick them out of their shells and use them, just kidding).

Thanks.

you can buy a bag of small to med size shells (200+) for like 3.99 at micheal's craft store.

Riverfront has a huge box available, I can't remember how much they cost though. Cheap anyway

If you can find a restaurant supply, you can buy escargot shells dirt cheap, and come pre-cleaned.

Ps if you can't find, I think I have a bag around

Just make sure they don't have that protective wax on them. Many do. You will be able to feel it and see it.

Shells

I went to Michaels and found the shells (they have both natural and waxed shells) they range in shell types small med and large (there where also some very large ones) each bag was $3.49. With some sorting of the shells (few oyster shells) I was able to get a very good supply for about $7.00.
