Since I can't seem to get dibs fast enough on any live rock for sale i'm thinking of ordering some from J&L does anyone else need some?

If you already have live rock and need more maybe this is a better alternative it seeds it and turns into live rock fairly quickly. I had read on reef central before that some people would only use 20% LR and the rest base rock and are happy with the results

yes I've ordered of the reef rock before and it is not bad, but this is for a new set up and I don't want to disturb my other tank. Thanks anyways

They had a box of that stuff sitting in the store where you can buy it by the piece. It was all really small chunks. I guess if you are going to cover it with larger chunks of liverock it would be ok though.

haha! what if you only want 5-10lbs of the stuff! but i guess in the end i should buy the 50lbs-- cuz i want my 66 to go salt-- eventually :o

I have full sized, very porous pieces available if anyone is interested. Most other dry rock or base rock is pretty dense stuff, mine is not. Check out my site for pictures.
