how to raise pH?
how do i raise my pH on my tank?
what would cause my pH to be low? would a low pH cause ick in my tank? any help would be appreciated thanks Neal |
How low? What is in your setup? Give us more info and we can give you better than guesses for answers... :mrgreen:

-If your running a calcium reactor, may be lowering your PH -You have low Alk -Aquarium is still new and cycling Some ideas. But we do need more info like reeferaddict said. |

Just my 2 cents.
In my tank when my ph reaches the point where I begin to get concerned (7.9) I add kalk or alkalinity buffer. I think the gradual lowering of ph indicated the consumption of Ca and Alk (carbonate hardness). In other words your buffering capacity is deminishing and its time to suppliment. |
