About posting pics

I know this might be a stupid question, but from what ive seen anyone posting pics just gets the little link you have to click on. Is there a way to get the pic to show up in your post?

Yes, it will be as before where you have to upload your photo to webspace somewhere, or the photo gallery which is still working at http://www.canreef.com/photopost/. Then copy and paste the link here using img tags.

Hopefully that helps

Hello,

Yes you are allowed to attach photos into messages you post. Use the Manage Attachment button under Additional Options when you make your post.

This feature allows you to display a photo in your message without having to add an external link. Photopost, however, is a good centralized album where you can find relevant photos in their appropriate categories.

The current Photopost version that we have will only work with phpBB2 and because phpBB2 is locked, only the first 2000 members registered prior to switching to vBulletin will have an account on Photopost.

Pics??

Hi Titus (or any other mod), I don't really understand any of the technical aspects of the board change. Is it better for me to keep doing pics in my gallery like I used to, or should I try to get a photobucket account or something for the pics I post here??
Sorry if this post seems silly to those with programming know-how, I'm just not sure about how the new board changes how I should put up pics of my tank and stuff :)

Hello,

No worries. You can do either or. By putting photos in the photo gallery like you used to, you are sharing your photos in the album. So anyone who wants to search for pictures can simply go there.

I tried uploading a pic of my Zoo's and it will only allow me to upload a 1kb pic in jpeg format. Am I doing something wrong or how should I go about doing this? Thanks.

Hello,

All photos are limited to 10k in size. If it says yours were too big, please re-size it.

Titus
