Congrats to you "Christy"

Anybody see the cover of The Reef Aquarium Vol. 3 by Delbeek&Sprung?
Looks like a collection of photo's but the ones including the "PurpleCross", Orange cap and "Leng Sy" Cap is a photo Christy took of a section of my old 120. Pretty cool Christy!! I'm just jealous it's your picture and not mine. First darn cover shot and I didn't even take the pic, plus you get the free copy(s) not me. :frown: Either way pretty cool I'd say.

Here you go Christy this one will make you more proud. Much better picture. I think this is a far better representation of your original image. Not sure why that other cover shot look like it did.

Oh wow. Congratulations on you both! That is quite an accomplishment to make the cover of a book. Awesome reef too. I'm inspired again. When's the tank tour?

Delphinus 11-18-2005 05:15 PM

Well .. what can I say but "Wow." Congratulations to the both of you. I am humbled beyond words.

Fantastic picture and wonderful subject to take pictures of. Congradulation to you both.

Thanks guys

I'm amazed at how much "photoshopping" they did to the picture, I thought it sort of looked good on its own but apparently they didn't feel the same

Hopefully I get that freebie. I haven't heard anything, guess I need to be a bit more aggressive

MAN, my tank wishes when it grows up it can lok just like your tank... Congrats on the cover .

Unbelievable! And to boot I think that is the best cover I have seen on a reef book. Great job!

Pretty cool!

Anyone read or checked out the book yet?

Dave

That's really sweet! I hope you guys get the due credit.

That said, it really is too bad that they did all the m4d h4x0R1n6 (image adjusting) to the picture. It really detracts from how good the photo really is.
