Klaus

I could be wrong but this forum is mostly interested in live coral ,
We kill enough in the proccess of keeping

These corals are from a time when live corals were not yet available and coral pieces (rock-like!) were used for decor in marine aquariums. As a matter of fact, if you should chance near an aquarium store, you will no doubt see the same colourful 'dead' corals in their display tanks! So, get off your high horse! :)

well it is the 'live' stock forum... Perhaps these belong in the '...Hard...ware' section... ;) ...lol...

You may have a point there...! :)

good luck selling dead skeletons here, the 80's are over. try selling them to a gift shop or something.

You are such a lovely bunch, I feel like giving you my life corals and life rock for free!

SeaHorse_Fanatic 11-21-2005 09:20 PM

Klaus,

I think the point they are making is that very few reefers on this board use dead coral skeletons as part of their "decorating schemes" in their reef tanks. Perhaps someone with a fish only tank may be interested, but live corals are much preferred in this forum. You would have more luck posting in BC Aquaria or buysell.com where people who are not reefers may want them as decorations in their tanks.

Just my $.02,

Anthony
