Any interest in a Frag meet?
I think it's getting close to the time when we should start to think about having a meeting sometime in the next few months. I missed the one in the summer so I would like to be at the next one.
Any interest? |
Nice, I have LOTS of frags.

Any month is good for me.

I assume that since there is so little response to this thread that the Calgary reefing community is not ready for another get together. Perhaps it's too soon. However, if people are interested more feedback on the thread would be nice. I just have a modest tank and no fish room but I would be happy to host the event if the interest is there.

11 people voted though (myself included). that's not a bad start. I think if someone just volunteered a date and a place, the rest will sort of fall in place.
I'd volunteer my place but I would like to finish my two tank construction projects first, it will be several months at least before I'm ready. But I'll come to a meet if there's one in the meantime, hint hint. |
I voted for December, as I am going to Arizona for the month of January. I only have zoanthid frags that most people in Calgary already have, also some GSP frags, and green Ricordia frags. That's it for me.

I voted January, but February would be good too. December is usually a bit hectic with all the Christmas goings on. The big issue usually seems to be my shift schedule anyway, so whenever. I would like to host one, but perhaps the next time. By then I might finally have my basement finished.

Dec is a little too hectic for me as well. I am away at the tail end of Jan on a dive trip to Belize so I would prefer Jan and as I stated I am happy to host it. As for Feb I am worried I might be too busy after being away.
