water tests
i got in a few more test kits and here are the results:
mag 1170 calcuim 370 kh 8.0 alk 2.86 the mag and calcuim are a bit low. ive done some reading on bev's links but it's still greek to me. what suggestions to raise the mag and calcuim. |

I use Kent's liquid calcium and Kent's Tech-M for Mg. |
I use a calcium reactor so it keeps the calcium and alk pretty much balanced. For magnesium I use the Seachem reef advantage and it seems to work just fine.
I wasn't sure from your post if you meant what products people use or what levels we keep those at. FWIW I keep my ca at 460, my alk. at 3.2 and my mg. at around 1400. |
