silicon question
 
ok so befor i was smart and read before i acted i used some bathroom silicon to re attatch the black trim on the topand bottom of an old aquarium. is it still safe to use this aquarium as a sump? the water shouldent really even come close to the top but i duno? can i scrape the silicone off and use ge I? or just leave it?? and will the silicone i put on the bottom leech throught the other silicone and effect my tank (prolly not but just checking) will this silicone even effet this bcause of the little to no contact??

personaly I would scrape as much of it off as you can and clean it up, then re silicone it.

It's cheap to fix the problem now, scrape it off and redo it....Just think of the cost if it does leech into the system!!!
