I have over thirty nudibranchs that was found on my cloves. Still have them in a bucket if anyone would like them. They are free!

Heya, do you or anyone know if they're good for a reef tank? I'd like to add some more bio-diversity if so....

OCDP 10-26-2005 01:55 AM

no I would definitely assume NOT reef safe... which would be the reason as to why they are being sold??

These eat zoos, and anyone with unwanted zoos may want them. Steve??

Alrighty, they are gone .... to a new home .... down the drain with hot water. Sorry, should have clarified they are not reef safe. Anyway, I'll probably be doing another reef dip in a week or two since I found egg patches. Let me know if you're is looking for nuds.

When would the nuds be safe? In a fish only tank?

OCDP 10-26-2005 02:31 PM

In all honesty, (not to discourage you from taking them) they would really serve no purpose in your tank... and I woulnd't be suprised if you put them in , and hardly ever seen them again

Also, I have read that nudi's don't last long in home aquaria , their diet is still unknown (but we do know these type like to munch on our zoos)

Just a FYI.

Not those ones, they do serve purpose, to eradicate zoanthids from your tank if you so desire, and their diet is known, zoanthids!

If you don't make their preferred food (in this case, zoos) available to them on a regular basis they would die anyways.
