4' Lights on 5' Tank?

I am in search of an aquarium to setup as a reef tank or maybe a FOWLR. I have found an excellent deal on a 5' tank (60"x24"x20") and a 4' MH light. Will this work or will there be dark areas at the ends?

Thanks

You should be fine. I assume it is 2 bulbs either DE or SE? Any other lights like PC or VHO in there?

i run 48" vhos and 2 Mhs on my 5' tank. it seems ok, i put the more light sensative corals in the corners just for some re-assurance, but you can't really notice too much darkness.

early production pic, but you get the idea of the lighting

Invigor I am trying to get a feel for rock weight/size. I like the way your tank looks, how many pounds of rock is that? What are the dimensions of the pictured tank?

60x20x20 and about 110lbs of rock, there's 75lbs of figi rock and 35lbs of caribsea reef rock..the reef rock is much heavier for the size than the figi.

that will be fine because it only leaves 6 inches on either ends.
