How many watts per gallon should i have for my 33 gal tank. For now i plan on keeping simple corals. so no mh

Over a 33g, without MH, I'd go with at least one 96w PC. With higher light requiring corals, 2 would be great. I kept a Derasa, Squamosa & Hippo clam under 96w Panasonic 10000k & 2 20000k T5s no problem (although they were high up on the LR structure.)

gallons do not consume light animals do regardless of size 150Watt DE for 24 inch high is OK :smile:

For your tank, now knowing what is in it, I would go with one of the two.
