clear, rigid PVC tubing?
 

anyone know where a guy can pick up a few feet of this stuff around the lower mainland? i'm looking for a few feet of 1.5"-2" in diameter and have pretty much exhausted any and every place i could think of...can anyone hook me up? :biggrin:

just wondering y u woukld want clear. wont alge start to build up inside the tubing if it has light to grow?

I seem to recall pansy_paws out your way has some in his system. Check with him as to where he got it.

thanks for the keen eye muck, i was really hoping to find some locally and not have to pay $50 for a few feet of it. and scuglass, the reason i want clear is for a co2 reactor for a FW planted tank...so i can monitor how the co2 is disolving.

Did you try these guys fishface..??
Im pretty sure they carry or can get in clear PVC.

Just so you know clear PVC isn't actually clear, but has a blue tinge in it. Don't think it would matter in your application though.

thanks again muck...just called there and i think they are the only ones around that do sell it. somewhat cost prohibative for me though at over $100 per 10' length!! :eek: zoiks! so much for an inexpensive DIY project :confused:
