Critter ID

I just got some frags from OA and this fellow was in one of the bags when I got home.

I will try and get a better picture later in a dish, but does anyone know what he may be. He looks like a flounder crossed with a slug. LOL

Was it in a bag with an Acro in it?

It looks like a flatworm or some sort.

Delphinus 09-26-2005 02:24 AM

How big is it?

Aquattro 09-26-2005 02:35 AM

That's an acro flatworm. Looks sort of brownish speckled color?

don't think he wants any of those..

He never made it outa the bag. ;) Off to the big ocean in the sky with him.

mr_alberta 09-26-2005 06:16 AM

He could have brought friends with him though....just keep an eye on your tank and do as much reading as you can on them just in case.

Aquattro 09-26-2005 06:36 AM

Ya, the friends option is likely. FW dips will get rid of them, but I pretty much lost my 150g full of acros from those things. Make sure they don't get in your tank!!

Sorry to steal the thread but do they look exacty like the white flatworms but a nasty brown? If so I have them... Well at least I dont have any acros. I would never ever ever be able to keep the alive. I have trouble with leathers.

They could very well be predatory to your leathers. I had a nudibranch that happily munched on my colt coral for about a month before I realized that my colt wasn't "budding" it was being snacked on.
