Snail ID - what the heck is this?
 

I've had my reef tank almost a year now and new things are still popping out. I haven't been able to id this snail that showed up last month. Looks like a conch but really...I have no clue.

What the heck is it and is it predatory?

It's probably one of those predatory murex-ish snails.
