Avatar How?
 

So how does bringing up an avatar work?

I found an image on the internet but it was too big for Canreef avatar parameters.

So I downloaded it to a file and shrunk it.

But now I can't figure out how to post it.

The directions in the area of the profile page, concerned with avatars, talks about using URL images.

Am I correct in understanding that an avatar has to come directly from the internet?

I'm sort of totally confused on this, other than I got the image to the correct pixel size.

Oh, and yes, I am new age technology challenged!
