Hermit Crabs are they reef safe?

I just purchased a big one and he has been in my tank for a bit now, but now I am wondering, are they safe for live rocks and corals down the road?

I have upwards of 40 Hermit crabs (blue legged and left leg variety) and they have never touched my Zoos, xenia, kenya or shrooms. I just love watching them do what my nephew calls the "crab dance" during feeding time

Most won't eat the corals they just uproot them and knock stuff over all the time. They love to dig under stuff and constantly pull things apart digging under them.

anemone hermits eat corals and each other haha

Hermits will go after each other as well as snails, but generally leave corals/clams/fish alone (unless they are dead or dying).
