I haven't seen any new posts in the Vendor forum lately. It's a good place to post specials in my opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing more in there. JMO.

I quite agree :biggrin: But what you can do, is tell your favourite retailer what it means to you, or what it would mean to you, to see them post into the Canreef's Vendor Annoucement forum.

I thought I remember seeing more than one retailer posting in the vendor forum in the last couple years. I'll tell you one thing: Everyone I know who asks about my reef tank gets an introduction to Canreef and having your company name associated with this site along with posting specials for your clients would surely be a relatively inexpensive way of advertising. At the very least, telling people when you've received a new shipment of corals or fish would definitely drive a lot of traffic into the store. I know all the local stores browse this site so take notice. This is a customer request. :lol:

I think there were a lot of ignorant posts in the past bashing the vendors. If I were a vendor I would steer clear of this forum for that reason.

get on the right page, we are talking about the forum the vendors post specials and shipments in.

The vendors page is limited access to only vendors too. No one else can post if i'm not mistaken.

Yes I know we are talking about the vendors forum. I am just saying vendors probably stay away from Canreef due to the various posts (in different forums) bashing them.
