Anyone into Car Audio??
 

just wondering if anyone else out there was into the car audio world...
ie: subs, amps, in car video, and so on....

I'm into it, but I can't afford it! lol

I used to be in it until i realized that all car audio sounds like crap. I guess it was good when I was a kid, I didn't know any better and the had the typcal teenage call of the wild to be a punk kid. But now that I have a house, I have all the breathing room I want. :lol:

I had an awsome system, up until someone broke into my car, stole the equipment, and lit the car on fire. :evil:

i dunno man, some of those bose systems sound pretty nice, sure they can't compete with say a $5000 pair of B&W speakers, but they're pretty darn nice for in a car.

I was the I started to do Pro audio and DJing so I can afour to hook up my car with toys. I just have a single rockford 10" sub. :confused: I wish I could buy a new MP3 deck I lost the face plate to my $1000 deck :evil: :evil: :evil: oh well some day soon.

I got about 1800 watts in my truck, mix of rockford and massive, if I did it again I would go massive for everything though. well except the deck.

I currently have a decent audio system and I love it. You're right though, nothing beats home theatre, you don't have to mess around with space issues!

car audio only sounds like crap if you buy the wrong stuff, I have a home theater and such also but it is to totaly different things, one is for movies one is for music. and who cares about that extra tiny bit of clearness from the home system when the fish tank is humming right behind your head :mrgreen:
