Well I spent last saturday re-scaping the reef. I took everything out to do this. With everyone getting new tanks. I needed to do something and this was the closest I could get to a new tank. It's still not complete as I find things need to be moved during each viewing. Also the color isn't the best as things got a little stressed. I do expect to see some better colors down the road as I beleive things are in better position for optimal lighting.

Looks good jamie. What was the proceedure for doing the moving? I've been thinking of rescaping my tank for some time now..

I figured I'd just get a rubbermaid tub (or two) half full of tank water (I'd have to do a waterr change to get enough water).. Throw a heater and powerhead in each and then just quickly transfer stuff back over after I've arranged the rock..

Thanks Guys, Well it took about 9 hours to do. I laid down a big blue tarp. Just so the ol'lady wouldn't kill me.Then I put alot of the corals in the sump. And the rest in styro boxes.(Thanks Marc) Most of the rock I put in styro boxes as well. Then just the reverse back in. My main concurn was to lower the reef as many things had grown to shadow others and also not to bust the pink milli.A few things did get broken but thats to be expected.

Looks incredible. Still a goal to which to aspire.

PS. Hey, I might be able to help you find places for those little pieces that broke off.

Hello,

I think Jamie's next job will be to consult for the public aquariums' landscaping.

I like the 2nd last.

Well Thanks again guys. I'm really enjoying this new look. Titus, I would love to aqua-scape a 500gal reef. But my 500gal reef. I bet that would be fun though. I could have a hay day at the Vancouver Aquarium.
