cycling...?
here is was i got this morning...
Temp: 78 SG:1.023 PH: 7.8 Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrite: 0 ppm Nitrate: 0 ppm i have 35 pds of live rock,.... since i've set the tank up, my ammonia went up to 0.25 ppm, i figure i should let the tank run for a while longer b4 throwing anything it...or should i just force a cycle the old shrimp method...? |
Looks like it's cycled to me, you could probably start putting something in there. Just be wary that any increase in bioload has a response (a mini-cycle of sorts, the bacterial cultures need to ramp up to accomodate the new load), which is why it's best to go in small incremental steps.

after a tank has cycled would it be appropriate to add 2 clowns at one time
|
adding 2 clowns would be fine, add small ones you wont have too much BIo load from them, Unless you start feeding 6 times a day. Like i do when i;m on summer vacation. Can't wait to go back to work on Monday.
Whatsize is the tank. any ways 33 gal |
