London, Surrey skytrain station, Iraq, Dachau, Dresden,

Seems to me that we are fated to violence forever. Part of human nature.

The violent impulse is within all of us. Likely our species wouldn't have survived without it.

Sorry to be depressing.

Wow something happened in Iraq too? I heard about the london explosion. Does anyone have the details on what happened in Iraq?

Sad to see that no-one will get along. The world aready has enough problems to deal with without all the violence that keeps re-occuring.

Friend of ours flew to London Tues night/Wed to attend a funeral. haven't heard from any of them yet.

Been to most of those Tube stations... very sad, very freaky.

From CBC.ca

"Foreign Affairs has set up a hotline for Canadians with strong reasons to believe their Canadian relatives might have been travelling on London transit this morning. They should have on hand the missing person's full name, date of birth and passport number before calling the toll-free hotline at 1-800-606-5499. "

My husband got a call from an old friend today who was in London on business during the attacks  Both he and his wife are okay, thank goodness.

This eye for an eye thing has got to stop

I agree fully, only its more like an eye for a county. Everytime there is a major attack on the US, UK, etc. they bomb the whole country responsible. I wonder what Tony Blair will do, if anything, to retaliate?

Do they, or do they just pick one?
