OH NO!!! help plz
well i was trying to catch a damn chromis in my 12 gallon nano.
i tore apart my aquarium but i got him. my aquarium has been up and running for about 3 months what would happen to my polyps, zoos and mushrooms if i move around my rocks? i noticed when i was putting my rocks back together that the side of my fiji live rock thta has not been exposed to light was not colored and white. does this mean my tank will go through another cycle? will my ammonia spike? just any comments or ideas plz i don't want my fishies and cool plants to die |
I wouldn' worry everything will be fine... you won't see a cycle... I assume you left the rocks and polyps etc in the water while you were fishing

The reason the rock is white is because there is no coraline growth there. It will colour up in time now that the light is on it. The coraline that is now concealed from light will probably die off, but it will not create a problem. As long as they corals are not on the bottom of a rock now, they should not suffer from the moving. They may sulk for a day or two though.
