Workhorse 7 question

Are any of you knowledgeable on the workhorse 7 ballasts?

I'm thinking of using one to drive some T5 HO bulbs (23"). If I entered things into fullhams website correctly - it showed that I could run 6 24" T5 HO's off of a single WH7.

Somehow I'm not convinced - anyone actually tried it?

it'll do 4 48" HO t5s for sure. i think a max of 220w so depending on whatever 6 24" are, you might have to run them in paralell, but that's no big deal

how is it showing 6 of them?, concidering there is only 4 wires I would say 4 is a reasonable max.

I think the workhorse 8 has 6 wires and the same output as the WH7, so maybe that would suit you better.

Ah, that makes more sense.

I didn't notice, but when you've selected wh7 from fulhams main webpage, then on the right it asks you to select bulb type and number for a wiring diagram - it actually lets you select 6 24" HO, it actually switches you to a WH8 when you do that.

Thanks to everyone for the quick answers.

Andy
