Earthworms in tank?

Hey,

Today I found the remains of my jawfish today :(

The REALLy weird thing is I found him on the other side of the tank next to what looked like a relly fat earthworm. Does anyone know what this might have been? (I flushed it as soon as I found it.) and did it maybe have something to do with the death of my jawfish. Worm was about 2-3" in length. Thanks, - G

Was this worm covered in bristles?

Here's an article on worms that might be helpful:

Thanks Bev, None of the above. If it wasn't for having absolutly no way of an earthworm getting in, I would say it was an earthworm. No bristles, thanks
